(WXYZ) — State lawmaker Rebekah Warren pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to a reduced charge of misdemeanor operating while intoxicated, according to the 52-3 District Court in Rochester Hills.

Rep. Rebekah Warren, who represents Ann Arbor, was pulled over on Dec. 26 on northbound I-75 south of Joslyn Rd.

According to the police report, multiple cars were following Warren's vehicle with their hazards on, and the officer pulled up and saw the black Jeep they were following.

Police then say the Jeep swerved into the right lane in front of another vehicle and collided with the right wall of northbound I-75. The officer activated emergency lights and said Warren was slow to stop, and as she tried to pull over, she swerved into the right lane varying speeds between 55 and 70 mph.

According to the report, Warren told the officer she was coming from an event at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit and was heading back home to Ann Arbor. She told police she only had 2-3 glasses of wine at the Renaissance Center "just a minute ago," according to the report.
