FLAT ROCK, Mich. (WXYZ) — A peeping Tom was caught on camera looking into a Flat Rock teenager's bathroom.

Paul Stabnick was charged in the 33rd District Court in Wayne County. He pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor trespassing charge.

The family raises questions about the charge because of his employment with the State of Michigan. He is a parole field agent with the Michigan Department of Corrections, according to his LinkedIn page.

The family of the teen said Stabnick is a neighbor and former friend of 10 years. The teen babysat for his family and the parents were friends.

The father noticed a log stump under the bathroom window and put up trail cam to catch the peeper.

7 Action News went to Stabnick's home and a woman walked away from the front door Wednesday night.

We reached out to City Attorney Matthew Zick for more information about charges being upgraded and are awaiting a response.
