SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — A student was hit by a Utica Schools bus shortly after being dropped off in Shelby Township on Friday afternoon.

According to Tim McAvoy, the Director of School and Community Relations for Utica Schools, the incident happened with an elementary school bus while dropping students off after school. McAvoy said the student was "bumped" and the situation is still under investigation.
