INKSTER, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are searching for a suspect involved in an overnight shooting in Inkster.
Around 1:05 a.m., troopers responded to 26742 Colgate in the City of Inkster for a reported shooting.
Witnesses told police that a lone suspect fired multiple rounds into the occupied home. Some of the rounds hit a 40-year-old male who was in the house. The suspect ran off from the scene, police say.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
