FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted smash-and-grab in Frenchtown Township early Wednesday morning.
It happened around 2 a.m. this morning at the Shell gas station on Telegraph near Grafton Road.
Police tell 7 Action News a person driving a dark-colored SUV smashed the building's glass door with a sledgehammer, put a chain around an ATM and tried to drive away with it but failed.
Call deputies if you have any information about the smash-and-grab.
