Warren police have cleared four teens of wrongdoing after initially accusing them of throwing rocks at cars from an overpass onto I-696.

Police say video from different places that the four teens were that night just didn't add up to them being the ones throwing the rocks.

It all happened on July 30 when at least four cars were hit by rocks thrown from an overpass onto I-696. Calls from those drivers led police to the area where they arrested the teens.

A week later, Warren Mayor Jim Fouts came out and said there may be new evidence that proved the innocence of the teens, but detectives were having trouble getting access to the video.

It seems police did eventually get to it because the father of one of the four teens tells us charges against them all are now gone.

Video shows the teens leaving the movies three minutes before the first 911 calls came in and stopped at a church 17 minutes later.

Meanwhile, new evidence and video shows another group of people running from the overpass before the teens even showed up.
