Brighton
A discussion will be taking place at the Brighton District Library from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to review how people handle crises, especially in the aftermath of 9/11. Click here for more information.
Canton Township
Residents are encouraged to attend Canton's second annual Do Good Expo at the Summit on the Park on the National Day of Service and Remembrance. The expo will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information, click here.
Clinton Township
A ceremony will be taking place at Resurrection Cemetary Clinton Township starting a little before 6 p.m.
Detroit
The Detroit Police Department and Detroit Fire Department will host the annual 9/11 Memorial Service beginning at 11 a.m. in Campus Martius.

Farmington
The annual Patriod Day Ceremony will be held at the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. View more information here.
Mt. Clemens
There will be a walk/ride from the American Legion Post 4 on Groesbeck, south of Elizabeth. People will be gathering at 5 p.m. with departure to downtown Mt. Clemens at 6 p.m. to the First Responders Memorial. For more information, click here.
Rochester Hills
A ceremony will be held at the City of Rochester Hills Fire Department Headquarters from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. View more info here.
Shelby Township
The 2019 Patriot Day Ceremony will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shelby Township Municipal Campus.
Utica
Pastor Bill Wrede will be speaking at Trinity Lutheran Church from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. He is currently at a seminary in St. Louis, but was living in Long Island during 9/11 and volunteered in the days to follow.
Ypsilanti
A special ceremony will take place on Eastern Michigan's campus at the Frederic H. Pease Auditorium from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. A beam from one of the towers will be at the ceremony. You can get tickets here.
