Wyandotte’s own Caleb Ave-Lallemant will compete against three other kids for $10,000 and bragging rights tonight on “Kids BBQ Championship” on Food Network.
The local grill master and his dad often compete in barbecue competitions, but now he’s taking his secret rub and putting it to the test at a national level.
Tonight’s episode of "Kids BBQ Championship” is the series premiere for season two, and starts at 8PM. “Food Network Stars” winners Eddie Jackson and Damaris Phillips host the show.
If Caleb can make it past the first elimination challenge, which is constructing a super stacked barbecue sandwich, and make it to the final round where he gets to show off his baby back ribs, then he’s got a pretty good shot at the prize money— judging by this YouTube video.
