Thousands of people gathered to watch the 52nd annual Cinco de Mayo Parade this afternoon in Detroit.
The parade started at noon at Patton Park at West Vernor and Woodmere in Southwest Detroit.
The large number of people gathering to celebrate Mexico’s independence enjoyed music, dancing, and candy.
