There may soon be a new way to keep tabs on your social media accounts and it comes in the form of a tiny life-like robotic dog.

Creators of Soshees are hoping they can raise enough money online to bring them into production.

Soshees are described as 10-ounce robots modeled after a type of Hungarian sheep dog. If Mark Zuckerberg’s dog, Beast, comes to mind, it wouldn’t be far off.

The life of a Soshee revolves around your social media accounts. The robot can reportedly be programmed to alert you to notifications on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat — or even just let you know when you get emails or stock reports.

Creators say on the product’s crowdfunding page that they were developed by experts in animatronics who have worked on the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'Harry Potter' films.

A companion app reportedly lets users choose the action for different notifications with options like tail wag, bark, growl, and sit.

Right now, the goal is $250,000 on Kickstarterto bring them to life. The team has raised more than $20,000 with 24 days left in the campaign.
