(WXYZ) — He does more than blurt out corny dad jokes – he's also good at trying to help with homework.
According to a survey by Brainly, an educational technology company, it turns out Michigan dads are among the nation's best homework helpers.
Thirty-five percent of dads in Michigan help their children with homework assignments. The number was 86 percent nationwide, according to the survey poll. But half of those admitted they get stumped by their child's homework.
Forty percent of dads want their children to be self-sufficient in finding out answers to questions on their own, while 24 percent encourage them to learn from their peers.
