(WXYZ) — There has been a lot of news coming out of Macomb County recently.
Former Macomb County Prosecutor one step closer to plea deal and prison
The county's former prosecutor is in court, on the other side of the aisle as he is a defendant in a criminal case. They're also on the front lines of the COVID-19 fight, with a sewer testing project getting underway.

Macomb County is also front and center in the presidential election, with many saying it could be key to whoever wins the state.
