(WXYZ) — In today's 7 UpFront segment we're examining issues our veterans are facing as we commemorate Veterans Day.
Joining us to talk about it is Wayne County Veterans Services Director Kwesi Betserai.

"I would say that it's getting a little bit better, but, you know, just like the rest of the population, veterans have been impacted by the economics of it and a lot of them are coming to us for some assistance with their rent payments, mortgage payments, and things of that sort," Betserai says. "So we're just a microcosm of a larger society and we need help just like the rest of the population and Wayne County focuses on getting that help to them."
