My Queen & I have been married for 25.6 years. There are so many reasons that Charlene is my Valentine 365 days a year: She loves God and is an orchid of a lady. It has truly been a blessing to have Charlene as my wife. I Thank God for her each and every day!

A super sweet story on how Samantha Hallman met her husband, Joel

Back in 2004, I was a non-traditional student living off campus with a roommate (I was 23 years old) and trying to finish my bachelor's degree at U of M. My roommate had previously introduced me to a bar called "Conor O'Neill's" in downtown Ann Arbor and we had planned on going there that evening. She ended up changing her mind, and I told her I was going to go myself, which was strange, but I had a feeling I was going to meet someone. I was sitting up at the bar when my future husband, Joel, walked in with a bunch of his buddies. We made eye contact. It took him awhile, but he finally came up and chatted with me. We exchanged numbers, he left, and he called me three days later (because, you know, the three day rule). He asked me out on a date, and we've been together ever since. We married in 2010, had our first son, Brandon, in 2012 and our second son in 2015, who we named "Connor", in honor of our meeting place :) Samantha Hallman
