Victim in Grayfox homicide identified, Port Huron police looking for person of interest

PORT HURON (WXYZ) — Port Huron police have identified the victim of a June 23 homicide on the Grayfox, which is a former Navy vessel. Investigators are also searching for a person of interest in connection to the case.

Police have identified Reginald Cu-Nu Grasty as a person of interest. Grasty was a caretaker on the vessel, and police last had contact with him in January 2020. He's currently homeless. He has lived in Port Huron but may be in the Detroit area.

The victim in the June 23 homicide has been identified by St. Clair County Medical Examiners as William Michael Orlow, 44, of Port Huron.

Police were dispatched to the Grayfox, 60 Griswold Street, on June 23, for a deceased person. A June 25 autopsy found that the victim's cause of death was trauma related.
