Victims of fungal meningitis outbreak share their stories of survival, pain & loss

(WXYZ) - The House of Representatives has passed new bipartisan legislation aimed at improving the safety of drugs made by compounding pharmacies. The bill now moves to the Senate for a vote.

The move comes a year after last year's fungal meningitis tragedy began unfolding. Hundreds of others got sick.

Recently, some of the victims gathered at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor to share their stories.
