Right now, the search is on for a purse snatcher in one metro Detroit community.
Police say a woman is behind at least one purse snatching incident at the Meijer in Woodhaven.
It happened around 11:30 Friday night.
Surveillance video shows the suspect lifting up one victim's belongings and walking off.
Detective Sgt. Dennis Deweese with the Woodhaven Police Department says the suspect knew what she was doing.
We're told the suspect was identified by a witness as the purse snatcher and it's possible she may be behind other recent crimes as well.
