(WXYZ) — A Michigan native is celebrating his win for the Nobel Prize Tuesday morning.
But, the Nobel Prize committee couldn't reach Paul Milgrom to tell him that he had won the prize in Economics.
So his neighbor and fellow winner Robert Wilson knocked on his door in the middle of the night!

Paul Milgrom is a professor at Stanford University. He was born in Detroit, graduated from Oak Park High School and earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
Milgrom and his neighbor Robert wilson were awarded the 2020 Nobel prize for theoretical discoveries that improved how auctions work.
