The Oakland University Choir put out a new virtual song called "We are Oakland Strong" in hopes of raising money for students affected by COVID-19.
More than 27 members coordinated remotely to release the song.
The university is hoping the song will inspire others to donate to students who are struggling after the university has transitioned to online learning. Some students face new challenges such as moving expenses, temporary food insecurity, transportation challenges, and especially medical expenses.
