The Kennedy Panthers basketball team were having a usual practice on Wednesday night until they were surprised by Detroit Pistons player Andre Drummond.
Drummond met with the Special Olympics athletes and decided to join their practice.
The Kennedy Panthers will represent Team Michigan at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle.
Drummond, a Special Olympics Ambassador, hopes to build on his newfound friendship with the team.
