(WXYZ) — One of the men charged with plotting to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer is expected to plead guilty.
A notice filed today shows Ty Garbin of Hartland Township is set to appear before a judge next Wednesday for a change-of-plea hearing.
This would be the first conviction in the case.
Garbin is charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping which carries a maximum life sentence.
