SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — Michigan State Police are asking for witnesses after a shooting on the northbound Lodge Freeway near M-39 on Thanksgiving.
According to police, it happened around 6:35 p.m. on northbound M-10 near M-39.
Investigation found that a Dodge Charger was going north on M-10 when an person in a white, 4-door sedan, possibly a Chevy Malibu, fired shots at the Charger. The vehicle was struck four times.
The driver of the Charger, a 33-year-old from Lansing, was not injured, and indicated he observed the sedan and another vehicle driving erratically behind him.
That second vehicle is believed to be a maroon Dodge Durango.
The white sedan continued north on M-10 while the Dodge Durango exited at M-39. It is unknown whether the sedan and Durango were traveling together or if a prior incident between the two suspect vehicles had occurred.
