BRANDON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — A woman has been arrested after deputies say she shot at a man after an argument.

The incident occurred Saturday night during a house party in Brandon Township. An argument broke out between a 55-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman who had attended the party. Deputies say the homeowner asked the man to leave. Before leaving, he reportedly threatened to return with a gun.

Deputies say that the man came back and starting pounding on the front door. The woman he was previously arguing with allegedly pulled out a gun and shot at him through the door, deputies say. As the man retreated to the vehicle, several more gunshots were fired at him from the residence.

Investigators say they do not know if the man was injured. Before deputies arrived at the scene, he reportedly drove away in a black or brown Chevy Suburban.

Detectives are still investigating.
