A Roseville woman wants your help finding a woman who stole out of her car in the middle of the night.

The homeowner, who did not want to be identified for fear of retaliation, says her husband noticed something was wrong when his pack of cigarettes was missing from his car.

“He was like thinking that I went in there to take his cigarettes from him to make him quit, cause I really want him to quit,” the woman said.

Security cameras show a woman coming onto the property around 1 a.m. on Wednesday. Despite signs stating there was a security camera and the woman looking into the camera, she still decided to steal. She took $20 and a pack of cigarettes, entering into the car through an open side door to the garage.

“I feel really uneasy, I’ve previously had decent experience here but now I’m just like you know what do I? I got to lock everything up,” she said.

Summer tends to be the time of year for thieves to hit. A study done by the U.S. Department of Justice said summer months are prime time for burglaries, with rates typically being 11 percent lower in winter months.
