DETROIT (WXYZ) — A woman has been charged with second-degree animal torturing after she allegedly stabbed the dog of a man she acquainted with, police say.

Bridgett Hubbard, 26, allegedly tried stabbing a 37-year-old man following an altercation on Feb. 2. Police say around 1 a.m. Detroit police escorted the woman to a home in the 16840 block of Winthrop so that she could gather her belongings from the location.
