DETROIT (WXYZ) — A 22-year-old driver was arrested for alleged drunk driving and hitting a Michigan State Police patrol car early Sunday morning.
MSP troopers were on the scene of a vehicle crash in Detroit on southbound M-10 near W. Chicago. Troopers were providing a traffic screen to protect the crash scene, according to investigators.
Troopers in a patrol car were in the right lane providing a traffic screen to protect the crash scene when their patrol car was struck by the driver of a 2008 Mazda. The 22 year old female driver from Taylor fled the scene and was stopped a short distance from the crash. pic.twitter.com/UQsdwF1T1q

A 22-year-old woman driving a 2008 Mazda hit the patrol car around 3:50 a.m. The woman then fled the scene but was located and arrested a short time later.
The woman failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. Police say no one was injured in the crash.
