Men arrested in connection to Warren home invasion

A fourth suspect has been arrested, after several violent home invasions in Centerline and Warren.

Investigators released surveillance photos of two of the four guys using stolen credit cards. They believe these suspects are responsible for robbing and tying up a 71-year old woman on Falmouth in Warren early Thursday morning.

Police say the two men entered the victim's house through an unlocked window, tied her up and took banking cards, jewelry and a wedding ring. The suspects also reportedly threatened to kill her cat. 

Sources tell us police conducted a traffic stop and took three people into custody. Stolen property was found in the car. They believe the suspects are responsible for at least two home invasions and may be responsible for more.

Police searched a home on Harding in Centerline, after making that traffic stop on the suspects. They found a bunch of stolen property. Two of the people arrested are pictured above.

Police released a 911 call from the early morning home invasion.

Family tells us the 71-year old woman who was attacked is battling cancer.

Warren Mayor Jim Fouts took to Facebook, thanking his officers for these "chronic criminals" off the streets.

The 70-year-old was not injured in the incident.

"She's retired, widow, lives by herself, minds her own business, everyone likes her and then she gets attacked in her own house, in her own neighborhood, in her own bed," said Bob Linton.

The woman is currently battling thyroid cancer.
