MACOMB CO. (WXYZ) — The Macomb County Animal Control is asking for the public's help locating two stray dogs involved in the deadly attack of a woman's 10-month-old Beagle named "Bellla." The strays also severely injured three other residents who attempted to intervene in the attack.

The incident happened Monday evening in Roseville around 6 p.m.

A resident was walking her dog in the area of Frazho Road at Kathy Street. The two stray dogs viciously attacked the woman's dog, a release states. Two residents in the area who witnessed the attack tried to intervene. They were bitten in the process, along with the Beagle's owner.

The stray dogs are described as one large, stocky, black Pit Bull with a white chest, and the other a smaller, reddish-brown Pit Bull.

The victims are receiving rabies treatment. The Beagle's owner was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries, while the two good Samaritans refused treatment at the scene.

On Oct. 8, the Roseville Criminal Investigation Division said it possibly identified and is working with the owner of the dogs responsible for the attack. The owner is cooperating with detectives, and the Macomb County Animal Control office is assisting with the investigation, according to officials.
