NOVI, Mich. (WXYZ) — Rainn Wilson, who is best known for his role as Dwight Schrute in "The Office," is no longer attending Motor City Comic Con this May after an issue with work.

In a post on Facebook, Wilson said that work stuff came up that "made it absolutely impossible for me to be there this May."

It was announced that Wilson would join fellow "The Office" stars Creed Bratton and Leslie Baker at the event on Saturday, May 18, the Suburban Collection Showplace. He was also scheduled to be in a panel Q&A with both of them.

"Hello, Motor City Comic Con. Diamond and I have some very sad news or you. Unfortunately, this year, I am not going to be able to make it to the comic con. I'm so sorry, I have to cancel, some work stuff has come up and has made it absolutely impossible for me to be there this May, but I really will do my very best to come in the future, maybe next year. I'll do what I can, I would to meet you guys, I was very excited to come, and I'm sorry to share the very sad news. So long for now, and I hope to see you guys soon," he said in the post.

MCCC said that they started processing refunds for photo ops and autograph pre-purchases on Wednesday.
