WXYZ DETROIT — Led by TV-7/20 VP & General Manager Mike Murri, WXYZ was proud to recently donate Bob Scripps Community Grants from the Scripps Howard Foundation to five local non-profits. Leaders of the Judson Center, Rainbow Connection, Winning Futures, the American Human Rights Council and the Detroit Goodfellows accepted the grant awards for their extraordinary organziations that give back to our community every day. We are proud to partner with and bring public recognition to these non-profits that are serving our very diverse Detroit region in countless ways. Their community impact is immeasurable!

Earlier this year, WXYZ and the Scripps Howard Foundation handed out community grants to the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, Forgotten Harvest, La Sed, Black Family Development, Build Institute, Detroit PAL, LAHC, Lighthouse of Oakland County and the Historical Society of Michigan. We look forward to shining our corporate Lighthhouse spotlight on more successful Michigan not for profit organizations in 2020.
