(WXYZ) — The kids are back in school and there is a hint of fall in the air!

If you're looking for ways to get out and about this autumn, we have you covered with everything from beer to donuts to apples. Here are the top fall festivals in metro Detroit, according to our online viewer poll. It’s our Thursday’s Top 7.

7. NORTHVILLE HERITAGE FESTIVAL
We're starting off with the Northville Heritage Festival, the city's celebrating its rich history and small town charm. All the food and fun kicks off with a Victorian parade.

The Northville Heritage Festival runs Sept. 13 to 15.

6. BREWS, BBQ & BOURBON (STERLING HEIGHTS)
6th takes us to Sterling Heights for Brews, BBQ and Bourbon at Michigan Lottery Amphitheater Sept. 20 to 22. Beer & bourbon not your thing? Look for hard ciders & sodas, games & live music.

5. HURON APPLE FEST (NEW BOSTON)
In 5th, it's all things apples at the Huron Apple Fest in New Boston. There's a parade, live entertainment, fiddlers competition and an apple pie baking contest! It's always the first weekend of October!

4. MICHIGAN RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL (HOLLY)
Go back to the 16th century at the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly. It has jousting, food fit for a king and themed weekends. It's open weekend runs through Sept. 29th.

3. HALLOWE'EN IN GREENFIELD VILLAGE (DEARBORN)
Dearborn and Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village land in 4th. Highlights include storybook characters and a path lit by more than 1,000 hand-carved jack-o'-lanterns.

2. YATES DONUT FESTIVAL (ORION TWP)
Greet fall with a warm cider donuts at the Yates Donut Festival at historic Canterbury Village. In addition to the donuts and cider, check out the music, food, arts and craft and donut-themed games. Look for it starting Sept. 14-15.

1. ARTS AND APPLES FESTIVAL (ROCHESTER)
The top spot goes to Rochester's Arts and Apples Festival! Arts & Apples features 16 live music acts on the main stage, a kids zone for tikes and fresh apple treats for everyone and more than 250 fine artists from all across the country!

Long time Rochester resident Linda Glembomki says the Arts & Apples Festival is a family tradition. Glembocki loves the "amazing arts and all the good food. They have play areas for kids and really cool stuff you can get into."

The Arts and Apples Festival kids off tomorrow and runs through Sunday at Rochester Park.
