After multiple top-5 finishes at the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix, Graham Rahal has won the first Dual in Detroit race.

Leading 55 of 70 laps, Rahal dominated the race in the No. 15 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Honda.

Rahal has had a fantastic weekend in Detroit so far, claiming the top spot in the first practice, second spot in second practice and getting the pole on Saturday morning.

He finished fourth in Dual one in 2016, third in Dual two in 2015 and second in Dual one in 2014.

It was his fifth career win and his first since August 27, 2016.

Scott Dixon finished second and James Hinchciffe finished third, followed by Josef Newgarden in a Chevy and Alexander Rossi in fifth.

Helio Castroneves, who posted the fastest lap before a penalty took away his fastest time, finished seventh. He hasn't won a race since the 2014 Detroit Grand Prix.
