DETROIT (WXYZ) -- The Detroit Tigers honored newly-inducted Hall of Fame pitcher Jack Morris on Sunday, retiring his number 47 in a pre-game ceremony at Comerica Park.

In addition to his name and number going up on the wall at Comerica Park, Morris received a framed jersey, a number 47 seat from old Tiger Stadium, and a "47" statue made of crystal.

Alan Trammell, who was inducted with Morris into the Baseball Hall of Fame last month, is scheduled to be honored with his own number-retirement ceremony August 26.
