DETROIT (WXYZ) -- Justin Verlander and his Wins for Warriors charity are featured in a commercial that will air Memorial Day weekend.

The 30-second commercial, for military-focused financial services company USAA, shows Verlander in an empty baseball stadium speaking about the importance of remembering veterans and their sacrifice on Memorial Day.

Verlander is a prominent supporter of military causes, including Wins for Warriors, which he founded in 2016.
