DETROIT (WXYZ) -- Tigers third baseman Nick Castellanos surprised a group of youth baseball players Friday at Comerica Park.

As part of "Fiesta Tigres" weekend, players from the Southwest Aztecs youth baseball organization got to spend part of the afternoon playing catch on the Comerica Park field, and got the bonus of a question-and-answer session with Castellanos.

Castellanos told Kacie Hollins that the kids reminded him of the teammates from his own younger days.

"They're all loudmouth, funny little kids," said Castellanos. "They're all cocky and they love baseball, and they all think they're great, which is exactly how I would want my kid to be."

Castellanos added that he enjoys participating in these types of events, because he enjoys giving kids the same opportunity he had when he was young to meet professional players.
