AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) -- Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Jennings told reporters on Wednesday that he's 80 percent sure he'll play in a D-League game on Saturday.

Jennings has not played since rupturing his left Achilles on January 24 against the Milwaukee Bucks. He has participated in practice for the past few weeks, but hasn't competed in much full-court action.

The Pistons' D-League affiliate Grand Rapids Drive host the Iowa Energy on Saturday.

Jennings said "it's about 80 percent chance that I will be playing in the D-League Saturday. I don't care, I just want to play man. I just want to get out there and hoop, and see where it's at."

When asked about the possibility of Jennings playing on Saturday, head coach Stan Van Gundy said "he hasn't said anything to me about it. He and I talked a few days ago about the possibility, in general, of playing D-League games if he wants to, cause it's his choice. But that was the last discussion we've had. He hasn't said anything to me."

Van Gundy said Jennings needs to improve his quickness before returning to NBA action.
