BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. — East Hills fifth-grader Glenn Cabbell has been fighting cancer since he was six weeks old.

He was diagnosed with Rhetinoblastoma as an infant, and lost his eye. After chemo treatment, his family hoped he had beaten cancer.

Last year, cancer returned in his bones, joints, organs, spine and brain. Glenn was diagnosed with metastatic rhetinoblastoma.

Cabbell's classmates used basketball to rally around him and his family this week.

"I'm a strong person. I want to keep pushing myself so I can get this done with," Glenn told WXYZ during 'Hoops for Hope' at his Bloomfield Hills middle school.

He's currently between treatments at Detroit Children's Hospital and Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

The family has a GoFundMe page to pay for his next round of treatments. Click here to donate.
