ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) -- Michigan scored four runs in the 7th inning to erase a three-run deficit and beat Missouri 5-4 on Sunday, claiming a spot in the Women's College World Series.

The Wolverines - designated as the road team for Game 2 of the best-of-three series - found themselves in a 4-1 hole after Rylee Pierce hit a three-run homer to right-center in the 6th.

With the bases loaded in the top of the 7th, pinch runner Mary Sbonek scored on a Sierra Romero sacrifice fly to make it 4-2. A Kelly Christner RBI single and a Kelsey Susalla RBI double tied the game at 4-4. Michigan would take the lead when Christner scored on a wild pitch.

This marks the Wolverines' 12th WCWS appearance, a run that includes a National Championship in 2005. Michigan (51-5) opens WCWS play Thursday against LSU.
