(WXYZ) -- The Detroit Lions will open their 2021 season schedule with a home game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, September 12.
The NFL and its broadcast partners announced Week 1 games Wednesday morning, with the remainder of the 2021 season to be announced during a televised special Wednesday night.
According to reports around the league, the Lions will visit Green Bay in Week 2 for a Monday Night Football game and visit Denver in Week 14.
As a reminder, Detroit's 2021 opponents are as follows:
Home: Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Arizona, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, San Francisco.
Away: Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Atlanta, Cleveland, Denver, L.A. Rams, Pittsburgh, Seattle.
