ALLEN PARK, Mich. — Kerryon Johnson is ready for a big workload in Detroit this season.

The second-year running back showed big signs of promise in his rookie year, and ESPN's Matthew Berry views the Auburn product as a high pick in Fantasy Football drafts.

Berry was in Allen Park on Tuesday for Lions training camp and talked with Brad Galli about Johnson's potential in 2019.

"Obviously a crazy talented back. He easily could be a top-10 back, but right now I have him in sorta the mid-tier, like running back 15," Berry said.

He likes Johnson's potential to catch more passes, especially after the Lions released Theo Riddick. Berry had concerns, though, that his red zone carries will be taken away by teammates.

"When you think about CJ Anderson or Zach Zenner, my expectation is that when they get in close, it will be one of the bigger backs," he said. "I think his scoring opportunities may be limited."
