MINNEAPOLIS (WXYZ) - It's the question that every Lions fan wants to know -- will the Ford family make the decision to keep Jim Schwartz next season?
Following the Lions 14-13 loss to the Vikings, Schwartz sent this message: "I certainly would like to be back. I think we have unfinished business this year."
According to multiple reports, Schwartz should learn his fate on Monday, Dec. 30.
"We've come a long way in these years, but we still have some ground that we can make and I'm anxious to have a chance to do that.
"We have a normal wrap-up schedule, with player physicals and stuff like that," Schwartz said.
Schwartz fell to 29-52 over five full years.
"I know the way this business is. We all do," Schwartz said.
