Grosse Pointe advances to second straight Little League World Series

The Little Legaue team from Michigan is headed back to Williamsport for the second straight season.

(WXYZ) -- Grosse Pointe Woods/Shores has advanced to the Little League World Series for the second consecutive year.

Grosse Pointe, representing Michigan, beat Indiana 13-0 Saturday to win the Great Lakes regional championship.

Michigan will play the Northwest champion, Idaho, Friday in the opening round of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
