HOLLAND, Mich. (WXYZ) -- Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins returned to his alma mater, Holland Christian High School, for a charity football game Friday night.

Cousins, who signed with the Vikings in the offseason, still has his Michigan driver's license, spends summers in the state, and plans to retire in Saugatuck.

Cousins likened the experience of playing for one of the Lions' divisional rivals to the reaction he received from Michigan fans when playing for Michigan State.

"I say hey, if you root for us 14 out of 16 games and we go 14-2, that's a pretty good season."
