There's been a lot of 'it hasn't happened since' talk during Mark Dantonio's tenure at Michigan State.
For the most part, it's been extremely positive, but there have been times when all the chatter hasn't been as rosy.
The Spartans are 2-2, the first time they've started a season like that since 2009, when they began 1-3, and host a deceptive BYU (2-3) team that has lost it's three games be a combined seven points.
The clamoring from a fan base that's had it pretty good over the last decade has found its' way inside the halls of the Duffy Daugherty building,
"This is a supply and demand instant-gratification world that we're living in, When the good things come you're probably getting an overabundance of praise, and when the bad things come you might get an overabundance of criticism as well," Dantonio said.
One reporter went as far to say that this teams goals are not attainable anymore, to which Dantonio quickly shut down.
"We're not cashing out on this season," Dantonio stated.
