Randy Perry III is a racing enthusiast.

Could be Indy car, NASCAR, or even racing his own bike.

On Wednesday, Randy got a unique ride from NASCAR's Joey Logano, as the two whipped around Greenfield Village in a vintage 1914 Ford Model-T.

"It was awesome!" Randy exclaimed as he exited the car.

Randy was born with malfunctioning kidneys, and lived the majority of his young life fighting infections. Up until four years ago, when they started failing. The Perry family received a match for a kidney transplant, and Randy has been getting better ever since.

It's been almost two years since the transplant, and Randy and his family are doing just fine, as doctor visits become less and less frequent, the Make-A-Wish Foundation continues to reach out to the family.

"They think of us when these events pop up and ask us if we'd be interested, and I'm like of course! It would be a great time!" Randy's mother, Carol Perry said.

"He smiling from ear to ear, it's just fun, I love seeing him like this," Carol added.
