(WXYZ) -- Olympic ice dancing champion Meryl Davis is engaged to fellow figure skater Fedor Andreev.
The 2014 gold medalist and metro Detroit native posted a photo on Instagram showing the ring with the caption "7/13/17," implying the engagement took place Thursday.
Andreev is the son of Marina Zoueva, who previously coached Davis.
Davis announced in February that she would no longer compete, but still performs exhibitions with longtime partner Charlie Davis.
