The Detroit Red Wings are hosting multiple events ahead of the team's home opener at Little Caesars Arena on Thursday night.
The special events include a red carpet walk, pregame party in the Chevrolet Plaza, opening night merchandise, amazing visuals during the opening show, giveaways and more.
It all gets started at 3 p.m. with the pregame party in the Chevrolet Plaza, which will feature the Red Wings experience, food, drinks, games, entertainment and much more. A special performance from the Killer Flamingos will happen at 5 p.m.
Between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., there will also be a red carpet walk for current and former Detroit Red Wings players. It will start outside the Little Caesars Arena garage and feature all current REd Wings players.
There will be a special opening show set and fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 7:20 p.m. to witness the introduction ceremony, which will feature ice projections, the LED skydeck grid, theatrical lighting displays and more surprises.
On top of that, there will be special merchandise for fans celebrating opening night at Little Caesars Arena and the inaugural season.
