The Detroit Pistons have acquired Orlando Magic small forward Tobias Harris in a trade, the team announced on Tuesday.

In exchange, the Pistons are sending Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova to the Magic. The deal was first reported by basketball writer Michael Scotto.

Harris, 23, is 6-feet-9-inches tall and has averaged nearly 33 minutes a game with the Magic this season. He's averaging 13.7 points per game this season to go along with 5.8 rebounds per game.

“Tobias adds good versatility as a ball handler and scorer who can play both forward positions," Pistons General Manager Jeff Bower said. "He also has good experience for a young player and will fit well with the young core we have assembled on our roster.  We appreciate the contributions made by Brandon and Ersan to our organization and wish them well moving forward.”

Jennings, who played point guard for the Pistons, has averaged  18.1 minutes per game this year, and has only started one of his 23 games played.

Ilyasova, who plays power forward, has started in all 52 games this season, his first with Detroit. He averages 27.6 minutes per game and 11.3 points per game.
