METAIRIE, La. (AP) — Saints general manager Mickey Loomis says New Orleans has signed wide receiver Jake Lampman, linebacker Tony Steward and offensive tackle Tyrus Thompson.

All three players participated in last week's rookie camp on a tryout basis.

The 6-foot-1, 241-pound Steward is a second-year pro out of Clemson who played in seven games with the Bills last season.

Thompson, who is 6-5, 330 pounds, is a second-year pro out of Oklahoma who spent part of last season on Jacksonville's practice squad.

The 5-11 Lampman is an undrafted rookie out of Ferris State, where last season he made 52 catches for 731 yards and eight touchdowns to go with four touchdowns rushing.

In corresponding moves, the Saints have waived defensive back Mike Caputo, quarterback Griffin Neal and wide receiver Shane Wynn.
