UTICA, Mich. (WXYZ) -- The United Shore Professional Baseball League, which expanded to four teams for 2017, opens its second season Thursday night at Jimmy John's Field.

The 2017 season opens with the defending champion Utica Unicorns facing the Birmingham-Bloomfield Beavers.

"It's electric, I'm excited to get it going again," said Unicorns pitcher Donny Murray. "Last season we had 3,000-4,500 a game, and it's exciting to play in front of those fans."

Murray threw the league's first no-hitter last season.
